Given my readership here at LJ :-), there's a risk of this post planting some serious earworms...

I've been listening a lot to Radio AENA at www.shoutcast.com--they play lots of neat medieval stuff (plus a lot of other, modern stuff based on medieval), mostly from European bands that I'd never heard of until now.

Today's earworms came from Scarazula (Istanpita Palamento) and Fidelius (Ungarisches Luegenlied), but there's lots of other good stuff from Freiburger Spielleyt, Wolfenmond, Duivelspack, Rabenschrey, and Corvus Corax. Subway to Sally seems to be very popular.

If my rudimentary German leads me to a correct understanding, Radio AENA is temporarily off the air because of a huge increase in German fees for online webcast music rights.
